In order to get a deeper understanding of the Lion’s Gate Portal, and why this energy is so potent. We need to begin by understanding the energy of Sirius.
Sirius
Sirius is a main sequence star (meaning that it produces most of its energy by converting hydrogen to helium through nuclear fusion). It is often referred to as our “spiritual sun” and even though it is half the size of our sun it’s over double the mass and outputs a whopping 26 times more energy.
Think of how the sun makes your body feel on an earthly level, how much energy, inspiration, and joy it gives us - now imagine that, but stronger, on a spiritual level, that’s what Sirius does to our soul.
Ancients believed that Sirius bestowed higher frequencies upon earth and so many cities were built in alignment with it. Sirius supports intuitive abilities and advanced technology.
In Ancient Egypt, Sirius was believed to be the star of Goddess Isis - The Goddess of Rebirth, and Anubis - who was able to walk between both the living world and the underworld.
In Shamanic cultures, Sirius was the portal in which the gods could communicate divine messages, it was also the gateway to heaven - where souls would have to journey through to complete their transition.
Sirius has always been connected to the ideas of rebirth, spiritual awakenings and spiritual progression.
Many starseeds feel a strong connection with Sirius and it is believed that this could be because they are descendants who have had previous lives there. These people are generally more in tune when the portal is open.

The Sirius Gateway opens each year between the 3rd - 7th July. This sacred energy is activated when the Sun comes into conjunction with Sirius. You can imagine how potent this energy is, you’ve probably been feeling high vibrations, deeper intuition & personal spiritual development.

Each year, The Sun, Sirius, & Earth line up. All of the amplified energy from the Sun & Sirius are projected at Earth. This portal activates accelerated transformations and supports abundance, manifestation & completion.
The portal opens from 26th July - 12th August but peaks on 8th August - hence its nickname “8/8”.
8 carries the energy of abundance and infinity. It reminds us that as above so below and that we should pause to see if what we project on the outside aligns with who we really are on the inside. In order to experience true abundance we must live authentically. We all possess our own individual gifts and the more we embrace our own path, the more successful and joyous we’ll be.
