6 steps for committing to your spiritual practice

Step 1: Set a clear intention for your spiritual practice. This could be a specific goal or simply a desire to deepen your connection with your spirituality. You can change this as frequently as you like.

Step 2: Create a dedicated space for your practice. This could be a corner in your room or a specific room in your home. Make sure it is a clean and comfortable space that feels special to you.

Step 3: Develop a routine for your practice. Choose a time and frequency that works best for you and stick to it. This will help you establish a habit and make your practice a regular part of your life.

Step 4: Find a community or teacher to support you. Whether it's attending a group meditation or finding an online community, having support and guidance can be extremely helpful in staying committed to your practice.

Step 5: Be patient and kind to yourself. Building a spiritual practice takes time and effort. Don't beat yourself up if you miss a day or struggle to stay consistent. Remember that it's a journey, and every step counts.

Step 6: Journal everything. Try to have someone rate journals for different uses so they are easy to refer back to. Include dates and don’t feel pressured to write pages worth of entries. Write what you feel called to.
